How to Identify an Clothing Moth Infestation
Clothing moths can leave small holes in any natural fiber products including clothes, and furniture. It is also possible to see the moths when moving clothes or furniture. They measure 1-2 cm in length and are light yellow-grey in colour.
Dealing with a Clothing Moth Infestation
- Pheromone traps
- Washing and dry cleaning infested clothes
- Heating to 49 degrees celsius for 30 minutes or more
- Freezing below 0 degrees celsius for several days
- Vacuuming carpets and baseboards
